YMCA Camp Letts was pleased to welcome the Arundel Rivers Federation and volunteers from the Realterm Corporate Giving Program to root 200 native plants, 110 trees and 90 herbaceous plants in an effort of hands-on conservation.
The plants will not only help beautify YMCA Camp Letts’ 220-acres, they will also stabilize the shoreline, reduce erosion and support wildlife habitats along the banks of the Rhode River.
This day of service marks the expansion of the on-going partnership with the Arundel Rivers Foundation which has brought numerous environmental education programs to Camp Letts in summers past.
