Cancel Membership

Thank you for your YMCA membership and we are sorry to learn that you wish to cancel your membership at this time. Please note that if you are a federal employee that is considering canceling your membership due to job loss, the YMCA may be able to offer you a Soft Landing program to support your continued membership during this difficult time. For more information about our Soft Landing program, please email member.service@ymcadc.org. Please note that to ensure the Soft Landing program is available for those with the greatest financial need, some restrictions apply to participation in the Soft Landing program. If funds are not available to support the Soft Landing program, the Y reserve the right to limit enrollment and/or pause the program.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Members who wish to cancel their membership are required to provide advance notice one month prior to their monthly draft or billing date (this applies to monthly memberships and annual memberships), through the Membership Account Management Portal, to include the member’s full name, membership ID number and complete contact information (mailing address, phone number and email address), as stated on your membership application and in the Membership Handbook.
