Refer a Friend

Working out with a friend is one of the best ways to support your healthy living journey at the YMCA.

This fall, friends that you refer to join the YMCA will pay $0 enrollment fee, PLUS, you will get your choice of a free YMCA experience to to use for yourself or your friend!

How it Works:

Referring a friend is easy! Just follow the steps below.

  • Share this page with your friend.
    • On iPhone – Tap the share icon (box with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen and select the friend you would like to send it to.
    • On Android – Tap the menu icon (3 verticle dots) at the top of the screen and tap “share”.
    • On Chrome – In the top right corner of the URL box, click the “share” icon (box with an arrow pointing up) and select how you would like to share.
    • On Internet Explorer – Click the 3 dots at the top right of the of the window and hit “share”.
  • Have them complete the form below.
  • Upon submission, they will receive a guest pass to visit the YMCA.
  • If they join, you will be contacted to choose your free YMCA experience.

Welcome to the Y! If you have been referred by a friend, all you need to do is:

  • Fill out the form below and hit “submit”
  • Upon submission, you will receive a guest pass to visit the Y for free. You are welcome to visit the Y on your own or with your friend. Simply bring your ID to the front desk to check-in.
  • If you decide to join the Y, you will receive a $0 enrollment fee!

1. Accountability

When workout partners schedule time at the Y together, it tends to help increase accountability (more workout dates are kept). Try it! Plan your next workout with a friend and instantly double your accountability!

2. Motivation

One more set. One more mile. You know you can do it! And if you workout with a friend, you’ve got someone that can help you do it (and you can help them too!).

3. Validation

There are many benefits of working out that are often not properly recognized and celebrated. Your workout partner can help you to better appreciate the progress that is being made each day.

When you schedule time to exercise with a friend, you are adding fun to your daily schedule.
