For Montgomery County youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, and family disruption, our YouthLinks Program provides:
- One-on-one mentoring of youth ages of 5 to 15 who are in foster care, or at risk of being removed from their home
- Volunteer mentor youth development trainings
- Fun mentor/mentee activities such as horseback riding, picnics, art workshops, college visits
YouthLinks is a collaborative partnership between YMCA-Youth and Family Services and Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services-Child Welfare. The mentoring program provides one-on-one, community-based, trauma-informed mentoring.
